If you want to watch the original music video for this song then search Chaz Jankel - Number One. Or No.1. You'll also see the cute girl doing the background vocals by the name of Tessa Niles.
Love this Movie 🍿🎥. I wish that I the DVD 📀. Movies That Rock !
I love Val Kilmer in this movie along with his roll as Doc holiday. Let's NOT forgot ICE MAN ( top gun). Legendary performance to stand toe to toe with Tom Cruise. Truly iconic. The soundtrack was brilliant also.
The monkees shirt for 5 seconds ❤❤
Moral imperatives. Some people sell out ... nothing moral about it. There's another word for that.
Ladies and gentlemen, Junk Chizzle!
"I drank what?" is the greatest movie line of all times.
Want to return to the 80s, this film is 1 reason why
my son --hunter was working on a project for dig. med. at ETSU in TN. he'd been at it for days without sleep . and started to see clown faces in the mirrows.
Love it never gets old.even tho it's old lol
I drank what 😂
This is one of the best movies ever!
Watch cha doing? Taking a shit. You can’t do that you owe me 10 bucks
Omgosh i love this movie.
Real Genius was on OTA TV in s hospital, as I came out of a 3-4 day induced coma after freaking brain surgery. I was laughing so hard, a doctor came in to check that I was okay. He laughed when he saw what I was laughing about. Val Kilmer - you are a treasure. I hope you're hanging in here. 🌎 👍😎❤
Shawn from psych is based off this wonderful character and movie. Pretty neat homage.
best part of this movie aside from the music..is Deborah Foreman(Valley Girl)
"Jerry! . .If you think that by threatening me, you can get me to be your slave, well! . That's where you're right. But, and I'm only saying this because I care. There are a lot of decaffeinated brands on the market, today that are just as tasty as the real thing!"
Always strange to understand why there was such an impetus to develop a directed light beam as a high heat source aside from trying to incinerate something immediately
😅 Great 👍 movie 🎬
I have a PhD in molecular biophysics and I've seen the "crackup" scene first hand. Pretty much had to talk good ol Steve off the roof. He works for the NSA now. Great movie.
3:20 I learned that wrench flip :)
It is important to overcome egotistical showmanship prestige since intellectuals are snobs who shun work while workers are snarling brutes of immediate gratification to consider: Keitario Yoshihara of Riken's Toyoda Labs has used ultraviolet lasers to produce nimbus storm clouds from humid air one could us for a plumbing system able to fit in a camper. NdYAG tuned dye lasers could allow laundromats able to fit inside luggage.
Marshall J Corbett of Gruman has Patented cold plasma aerial motorways using lasers as depicted in of film "Neo Seoul 2144 A.D" and of course a laser optical trap could allow raw materials to be directly converted into finished goods.
This scene led me to hardcore porno.
Always strive even if you feel lost.
I am studying for Grad School while I listen to this movie. Perfection
This film is so damn good, it has 3 epic montages! Falling, number one and then near the end with Thomas Newman's unreleased score!
maui 2023 aug 8
Was a much better time to be alive then, for real. You youngsters got duped.
I want to start seeing more of you around the lab. Fine, I'll gain weight
If #1 was Satan who would be #0? Greek Primordial Deity KAOS for every parallel universe at space core 0.... but I think we are spacecore #10 (MALKUTH - KINGDOM SEPHIROTH).... KAOS is like GAOTU (Grand Architect of The UNIVERSE).............. tah-men!
Can't believe how young Sarah Jessica Parker is in this movie.
I saw a video about the director, Martha Coolidge. She originally declined an offer to direct real genius, because the script was just another dumb frat boy movie. Given freedom to change it, she went to cal-tech , i believe and interviewed A bunch of students, to find out what really went on there. Years later , At a showing of RG, real scientists said they chose their careers because of this movie. There are some videos on YT about the popcorn finale. It took months to pop all that popcorn. Nerds are cool, Hmm, who knew?
Saw this movie so long ago but haven’t forgotten about it
Much simpler times and fun times
Just good fun movies
The original Ryan Reynolds but more wholesome
I grew up in 80’s.. I dig this! 👍
God I live 80’s movies. And always with the great soundtracks
@3:45 This is my reaction when another incompetent forman, that never did any work, tells me how to do my job.
I heard from my inbred Illuminati friends that this song is actually Taylor Swift's pre-concert warmup song....
Lol
maybe Martha Coolidge will be reincarnated into the multiverse where Hollywood successfully utilized William Atherton into more leading nonantihero roles after The Sugarland Express? who knows? I mean how sophisticated does a "universe bought off a shelf" really get?
I have only one question...how much was he paid to do the screaming scene? Lol
Apparently he is now a well known producer, did lots of big movies. Lol
"I drank what?"
THE 80s montage that outdoes them all
this and better off dead got me through high school
3:38 it's hard to read book thru sunglasses
This movie never gets old. First time I watched it, I was 12, and now I’m almost 50. And to this day, I still enjoy watching it. God I miss the 80s.
55 now. same pal this was year graduated high school.. such a great time to be a kid
51 and still love it too!
yeah, i feel sorry for the kids that missed the 80's. i was just something about that time.
54 here and I miss the 80’s too
I was 9 and now i am 43 .😂😂😂😂
Brilliant casting in this movie.
This movie changed me. Being too serious in your studies. You can have fun studying. I loved the part when Val Kilmer says to William Atherton, " There are many brands of decaffeinated coffee, but they all taste the same."
that taste as good as the real thing. Implying that Dr Hathaway (W Atherton) was unnecessarily nearvous.. 1970s/1980s decaf coffee commecials used a similar line - "Tastes just as good as the real thing"
3:38 I have seen this in real life. Lol.
Love the guy freaking out in the study area 😂
You gotta love this song its a mortal imperative lol
